Day 1 - 45 is the max score for day one and all technology is up for gr
abs.
Need 30 point to continue
Day 2 Morning is worth another 30 points max - More technology. Need a
total of 55 points to continue
Day 2 Afternoon is worth another 25 points max for Troubleshooting. Ne
ed a
total of 80 point to pass.

Obviously, you want as many points from day one as possible to give yourself
some breathing room. Image only getting the minimum 30 points on day one.
Day two would be a nightmare. If you only get the 55 points total before
lunch day two, then you would have to get all the troubleshooting points
which is almost impossible.

On the bright side, I do know of one person that had all the day one and day
two morning points for a total of 75 (perfect score) before the
troubleshooting section. As soon as he got the required 5 more points for a
total of 80 points, they stopped him and handed him his number. They did
not even let him finish to see if he could get a perfect score.

I guess there is hope for the rest of us then.

Subject: LAB rumours!

Hi guys,

Just to clarify a few things (within nda of course!):

Can sb. tell me how many points are allocated for the first day? I always
thought it was 60, but I read in the archives that it was 45.
(What's the breakdown section by section).

Also, is the first day still devoted to IP, with the second to multiprotocol
stuff / troubleshooting ?

I had heard that at certain sites they cable the rack for you, but you have
to calculate your own IP addressing, whereas at other sites you have to
cable up the rack, but they provide the addressing. Is this (still) true?
How about in Brussels?

As far as troubleshooting in Brussels is concerned, do you troubleshoot your
own setup, or are you given a 'new' network to troubleshoot?

Thanks in advance.

Mark
