   Hi Sanjay
Basically there is the issue of "half-bridge" on R3
U have ipx network 700 configured on serial of r3
So, when u initiate an ipx ping from R3 to the BVI of r1, the
encapsulation will be IPX directly in HDLC...
This will work if u configure a BVI on R3 with IPX net 700 and source
   the ping from this interface

   Subject: IRB Question

I have confgured IRB on r1. IPX network 700 is configured on r3. On
r3, I can see all the routes learned from BVI, however when I try to
ping ipx interface on r1 don't get replay. I turned on debug ipx
packets on r1 and I don't even see the ping request coming from r3.

Below are the related configs. Any suggestions?
