It's the way OSPF picks the best paths. First of all it's the longest match. Th
en the most preferable ways are, respectively intra-area (within the same area)
, inter-area, external type-1 then external type-2. If you have 2 paths of the
same kind (eg. 2 intra-area paths) to the same destination, then OSPF chooses t
he best metric (cost).
