Title: 2 days to go - Mobile IP
I've been working on Mobile Ip and have a couple of questions. I used
the examples on the cco website and have the following configs:
On Home agent router:
router mobile
ip mobile home-agent broadcast
ip mobile virtual-network 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0
ip mobile host 10.1.60.1 10.1.60.254 virtual-network 10.0.0.0
255.0.0.0
ip mobile host 11.0.0.1 11.0.0.5 interface FastEthernet0/1 lifetime
3600
int fa0/1
ip addr 11.0.0.10 255.0.0.0
On Foreign Agent
int fa 0/0
ip addr 192.168.10.1 255.255.255.0
ip irdp ip irdp maxadvertinterval 10

ip mobile foreign-service
ip mobile registration-lifetime 3600
router mobile
ip mobile foreign-agent care-of FastEthernet0/0
Now if I have this straight - Shouldn't I be able to put a laptop on
the foreign side configured in the 10.1.60.0 subnet and be able to
connect? Of course, nothing happens or I would be moving on to one of
the many other subjects I'm trying to squeeze in before my synapses
all disappear. Any ideas? Does anyone have a better config? Is it
still Wednesday?
