Rena,
I have a network that running demand circuit over
non-backbone areas from the remotes sites to the hub
site.
This is used for ISDN dial backup.
Hub site is a 7206 and remotes are 2610s running
12.5T1.
no special configuration, but i found out one thing
that on the remote routers "router ospf xx"
configuration, you can try just put the interface of
that router in the "network xxx area xx".
say, if the whole network is 10.0.0.0 something, but
your local router only has 10.1.1.0/24 subnet, just
put this subnet under the OSPF, do not put the whole
10.0.0.0 or 0.0.0.0 under OSPF, and also put "ip
ospf-demand-circuit" at both ends.
