I don't recall anyone every saying in the ccie lab, nor seen it in writing,
that you can't save the configs. Saving your configs is part of everyday
life, would you not do it at work? Yes, the proctors will delete them if
they find them. One reason they do that is if you don't make it to the next
day they don't want the material available for the next person, should they
have a same or similar lab. They also don't want to make it easy on you but
if I'm not told I can't save the configs, which is something I always do at
work, I personally don't have a problem with it. It may be a gray area but I
haven't seen where it says it's forbidden. It's just another tool, just
like having the network diagram. my $.02 anyway, I could be wrong.
