RE: Using PCs to test DLSW (ethernet this time)

Also have Ethernet NICs in these two PCs. I've shutdown the TokenRing SRB.
I see the same behavior, packets from the Acer bring up the DLSW peer. No
frames seen from Compaq...

r1#sh bridge
Total of 300 station blocks, 299 free
Codes: P - permanent, S - self
Bridge Group 1:
Address Action Interface Age RX count TX count
0020.afb8.0f48 forward Ethernet0 1 15 0

r2#sh bridge
Total of 300 station blocks, 299 free
Codes: P - permanent, S - self
Bridge Group 2:
Address Action Interface Age RX count TX count
0020.afb8.0f48 forward DLSw Port0 0 7 0

Is there a debug cmd I can use to get the same detail 'debug token ring'
gave? Tried 'debug ethernet-interface', 'debug tbridge <all options>' with
no success. It would be nice to see the frame header for these packets.

Subject: Using PCs to test DLSW

Have two TokenRing attached PCs and want to drive share between the two to
test DLSW.

Acer PC---r1--FR--r2--Compaq PC

Acer sees itself as part of the domain, sends spanning explorers my Cisco
2513 (r1) recognizes and brings up by DLSW peering.

Compaq does not see itself as with net view and doesn't send spanning explorers my Cisco 4000M (r2) recognizes.

Both PCs running WinNT. IP addresses defined on each PC, routers can ping them.

Why does the Compaq send an LLC frame while the Acer sends a MAC?
