Its not that they have no internal clock, they simply don't have a battery
to keep it powered.

I am having the same issue with a 3640, so they don't keep time either..

The 2500 has no internal clock - so the answer is no, but you could use NTP
with something like a 36xx or 4000 - as far as I know they have internal
clocks !
