Are you sure about it? Because you configure cat6k just like 5k
box. Assign ports to different VLANs and then use session xx command to
assign layer 3 information to that VLAN. It is not line Cat2949-L3 switch
with standard router like IOS where every port by default is a L3 port and
you end up using IRB to put multiple ports in one bridge group.
I could be wrong but that's what I thought. Anybody with more experience
on cat6k is welcome to comment on this.
