You'd certainly need multipoint subint since LEC will be creating
multiple SVCs to join LANE service components !

In Caslow's book (p.276) he states that a LEC must be configured on a
multipoint sub-interface to make it a lane client. I've searched
through the Cisco docs and can not find any information that backs
that up. In fact, the examples I have found just use subinterfaces.
Can anyone confirm or deny his statement?
