Hi all,
I'm presently working on IPVPN for an enterprise customer interested in
outsourcing its current dialup network that allows its employees to dialin
from home/hotel to access internal Intranet resources. Part of the client's
requirement includes the ff;
1. Analog and ISDN with support for MLPP(Multilink PPP), and MPPPC
(Microsoft PPP compression)
2. Stac compression
3. Compression in the tunnel
My question goes thus,
1. as an ISP, do i have to bother enabling MLPP and MPPC on my NAS or the
distibution router?
2. can stac compression co-exist in the tunnel with MPPC?
my personal view is that, these should be transparent to an ISP, I stand to
be corrected!
Please I need your inputs on this.
