Thanks Guys. They did drop off a 2 wire ..so had to plug in a NT1 and get
this working.

Are you sure your homing to a 5ess switch? Other options are ni1 or dms-100
(in the US anyway).
Also, did the Telco drop off a two wire (U interface) or 4 wire (S/T
interface) interface? Most of the time the Telco will drop off a 2 wire (U
interface). The 2503 requires an external NT1 to convert from U interface
to S/T (4 wire interface).
