Try escrow, it cost a little more, but I have never had a problem. They
will withhold payment until you get the equipment and make sure it is what
you want and works.

First of all, the 2512 is not anywhere close to the 2510, other than they
both have token ring, 2 synch serial ports, but that's where it stops. The
2510 only has 8 asynch ports while the 2512 has 16. They shouldn't get away
with pulling something like that. I also took the liberty to check to see
if the Hitek or GrandStore.com was an authorized reseller of Cisco gear and
they are not. They also do not have a Cisco account team assigned. Neither
of these items are to critical as they do not apply to resale houses such as
this. The issue concerning the licensing of the IOS code on the router can
be remedied by contacting Cisco directly with the serial number. They
should be able to tell you what the last version of code was that the router
was registered with.
I would also suggest communicating with e-Bay and explaining that what you
purchased was not what you got and ask that the negative comments on your
account be removed. They usually will work with you. Last thing, if you
used a credit card to purchase the router, you are protected under the
Credit Card Protection Act. You can contact you card company, explain the
situation to them and they are required to act as your agent to resolve the
problem. If you did not get what you paid for, you may not required to pay
for the item. The card company will place the item in dispute and work with
GrandStore.com to resolve the issue. GrandStore will risk losing the money
as part of their agreement to take credit cards.
Thanks,
