Hi,
i agree a prefix has to be configure for the dial peer but why PLAR ? i
thought it is only meant for dialling the destination peer once the local
phone goes off-hook. Can someone advise ? cheers

Earl, this is my understanding, wishing to help.

outside line------------3640-------------insideline(extension)
                             fxo fxs

configure fxs's destination pattern '9', and PLAR to fxo port.

by the way, who can clarify the destination pattern + and prefix 's
function, thanks.
