I would just like to comment on this thread...
Rob Ehlers should be able to sell his equipment at whatever price he
wants... If he wants to sell it at $30,000 then by all means.. more power
to him.. Maybe he can donate some of that extra money to charity.. me = )
I personally know what it means to spend thousands of dollars on equipment.
The way I see it is investing in myself and will payoff in the long run.
Maybe someone should consider this lab as a long term investment.
If someone wants to have a turn key ccie lab then Rob Ehlers equipment isnt
such a bad deal. I for one can say that its a pain in the arse to go
through auctions, used dealers to get good pricing on equipment. It takes
some time and effort to find the best deal. Then you have to worry about
coming up with terms that you can work out with each and individual
players...
I'm not knocking anyone because of their opinion... it's just I would rather
congratulate Mr. Rob Ehlers of a fine job in passing his lab the first time
than worry about how much he should sell his equipment....
This is just my 2 cents... now let get back to studying shall we??
Hey Rob.. care to share any thoughts on the lab itself? without breaking
nda of course!
Regards,
Jon
