Do NOT waste your money on Parkhurst's Book. Beau's book is very excellent.
You can always get a wealth of information free directly from cisco. Go to:
ftp://ftpeng.cisco.com/ipmulticast/html/ipmulticast.html
That link has more information than you could ever need about IPMC.
