You can also spend/waste alot of time finding various bugs in different
versions of the IOS. I can show you several.

Are you saying the a specific protocol and DLCI is showing up as static
and dynamic mapping in your configuration? What happens when you do a
"clear frame map"? How frame configured
(hub/spokes-subinterfaces/physical)?

Below is what I have experienced:

Caslow's Cisco Certification - Bridges, Routers and Switches for CCIEs
page 118 under the section titled A Word of Caution When Using
Frame-Relay Map Statements, first paragraph: Consider the
configuration...inverse-arp will be disabled for that SPECIFIC PROTOCOL
only for the DLCI referened in the frame-relay map statement.

Back to my original query:- The theory says that Inverse Arp should be
disabled! I would expect no dynamic entries at all. Added to that there
are zero counters for the frame traffic commands. I would not expect to
have to manually disable InArp.
