Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have 4 routers connected in a row.
Router 1 to Router 2 is running bgp and router 1 is sending a default 0/0 towa
rds 2.
Router 2 to Router 3 is runnnig ospf and using the "default-orignate" command t
o propogate a default route into ospf. I have also configured a loopback interf
ace, on Router 3, with a different class address to generate a default into IG
RP.
Router 3 to Router 4 is running IGRP. If I have the default-network configured
on router 3 a default route is injected into IGRP but I can no longer get out t
he BGP default. If I remove the default-network I can get out the BGP default
but IGRP no longer has a default.
Is there a work around to this problem. Also is it better to use a loopback to
generate the default into IGRP or should I redistribute one of the BGP routes t
o do this. My concern would be that if the BGP route goes away, I would lose my
default into the IGRP domain.
Thanks
-Chuck
