Reset the MSFC (module 15 or 16) using the reset command and then issue the
"switch-console" command followed by a break-key sequence. This will put you
in the rom monitor on the MSFC. From here the password recovery is the same as
a 7200.
Here is an example:
lt-6500a (enable) reset 15
1999 Oct 25 09:26:30 %SYS-5-MOD_RESET:Module 15 reset from Console//
Resetting module 15...
lt-6500a (enable) switch console
Trying Router-15...
Connected to Router-15.
Type 'exit' to switch back...Cat6k-MSFC platform with 65536 Kbytes of main
