As for the LS1010, if you are able to afford one then that should be
sufficient as you probably would only want develop scenarios where you switch
VCs through it and terminate on either a catalyst or router on both sides. I
would also highly recommend that you have a device with a min of three, and
better yet four, serial interfaces for a frame switch. Also,
two devices with ISDN interfaces as well as a simulator of some kind.

Hi everyone.
I've been trying to figure out what to get for my CCIE home lab. I'm not on
the tightest budget, so I can splurge a little. I can always sell stuff off
later. I already own a 2501 and 2507. What I'm going to add is:
*Catalyst 5000 (trying to find a cheap LS1010, but can you do anything with
just 1?)
*2600/3600, both with voice cards and token ring (because I have little exp.
with either)
Can anyone help me think of anything else I should think about getting?
Should I be set with this lab? What would you guys get if you could have
anything (to prepare for the lab)?
