PLAR (Stands for 'Private Line Auto-Ringdown') should be thought of as a 'Bat-P
hone'. Do you remember how Commissioner Gordon picked up the BatPhone and it a
utomatically rang in the BatCave? That's PLAR.
You configure PLAR and upon pickup of the handset, a call is automatically plac
ed to the destination. No digits are dialed by the user.

Hi all, I am trying various voice configurations, but I am a little
confused about the "PLAR" configuration. The Cisco documentation
touches on it, but not in great depth. Can someone please explain for
me when you would use it and why?
