Title: RE: Looking for a used ISDN Simulator
They are expensive! I imagine that buying them used will save a
little. Since there's not a lot of them out there and they don't get
used much (good as new!), I don't expect the savings to be much.
Here's the best price I found... but I think it would be easier to get
two isdn lines installed, or two analog/modem lines installed and use
the aux ports for DDR. Maybe a day's worth of rack space would do the
trick.
This place has the "isdn demonstrator" (both U interfaces) for $1653
http://www.trynci.com/cat/telco16.htm, and you can probably sell it
for close to what you paid for it!
I was lucky enough to have two extra ISDN lines at work... it took me
weeks to scrounge up equipment and I had all of my scenarios done
within eight hours of work (is it THAT obvious that I'm
self-financed?) ;)
