Hi Zhencai,
The different type of interface and cables support up different DCE clockin
g speed.
Go to interface mode and type clock rate ? this command will shows up to th
e highest clock rate this cable can support.
In the lab, there is no special requirement for which speed you has to set.
I always use 64000 also
hope this help

Hi,
In the lab test, do they require dce clock rate to be set certain numbers,
say 4000000? Or I can assign any number by myself? I'm asking this because
from my observation, some cables don't support very high clock rate, some
are not reliable at high clock rate so I always set 64000 when practice, is
that OK?
Thanks a lot.
Zhen Cai
