Jamal,
The Cisco CCIE FAQ describes the lab component for voice as being of lower
weight than that of OSPF or BGP. It says that no additional equipment will
be added, and it also says that they questions are more likely to be
voice-over-IP based rather than voice over frame or voice over ATM (Can you
tell I looked into this?).
I think that you can reasonably draw the conclusion that a voice question
will be on the lab, but that it will not have enough weight to completely
tank you.
I am currently reading "Configuring Cisco Voice Over IP" from Syngress. It
is relatively fluffy (not a lot of detail, big print.), but has a lot of
actual code. It is a good read for someone who is just trying to get enough
of a handle on it to pass the exam.
The ISBN is: 1-928994-03-2

Subject: Voice over IP . how much?
hi.
I am just wondering about the weight given to Voice Over IP in Lab? what is
the right resource to study VoIP? I am tight in budget so not considering
to
go for CVoice.
