Since you are not using ilmi to register nsap address with the switch, you
must add static routes to the switch.

add the following command to the switch for each network

atm route (network) (atm-interface)

Example

1.nsap address of router attached to lightstream interface atm4/0/0
        11.111111111111111111111111.111111111111.00

2.global command added to lightstream
        atm route 11.1111 atm 4/0/0

Hope this helps

Hi,

I'm trying to configure ATM SVC without ilmi, I use the example from CCO:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/121/13.html
but for some reason, two routers can't ping each other. If I change to SVC
with ilmi and use esi address, it works. Anyone had the same problem before?
Here is how I get NASP prefix: enable ilmi, show atm ilmi-status,
copy&paste, disable ilmi. Is this the problem?
Thanks a lot.
