Consider following scenario, R1, R2 and R3 run over IPX NBMA frame clouds,
Hi, Guys
IPX eigrp is configured over frame, IPX rip across R3-R4.
At R1
frame map IPX 12.2222.2222.2222 102 broadcast
frame map IPX 13.3333.3333.3333 102 broadcast
At R2
no IPX split-horizon eigrp 100
R3, similar frame map configured as R1.
R2

R1 R3_________R4
Results: from R1, I can ping R2 and R3, BUT cannot ping R4, although route
34 is in
R1's route table!
Of course, I can ping from R2 anywhere.
Question: Is any other issue involved beyond (1)SPLIT-HORIZON AND (2) FRAME
MAP STATEMENTS?
This is very important, I had same issue with AppleTalk, even (1) frame map
and (2) split horizon
plus the (3)App local-routing, you still cannot ping the network behind the
remote spoke router!
Please help!
Bob
