Your scenario is a good one for DLSW peer groups.

Subject: DLSW Question

This is a basic DLSW question. Here goes.

R1---------R2---------R3

R1 has a local...promiscuous statement and a remote statement to R2

R2 has a local...promiscuous statement

R3 has a local...promiscuous statement and a remote statement to R2

Is there anyway R1 can access a resource on R3 or vice versa in this
configuration? Or do I need to specify each other as remote peers. (R1 and
R3)

If I use border groups in this senario, would that make it work?

Thanks,
Ben
