Question on ATM PVC's.
It would appear that according to the CD they are quite simple to
create. According to the example in the doc you have:
interface atm 0
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
atm rate-queue 1 100
atm pvc 5 0 10 aal5snap
ip route-cache cbus
map-group atm
!
map-list atm
ip 1.1.1.5 atm-vc 5 broadcast
I'm assuming the 'atm rate-queue' command isn't completely necessary.
Can I also assume that if this were the answer to a question, the
question would have
to provide what VCI (10) to use and what IP address is on the other side
of that so I could
create my map-list stmt?
Also: Is the VCD (5) local only to that router? Does it only have
significance to this config
only?
Any light would be most appreciated.
