Hello,
I have the following questions:
1.I have been reading confusing information about "ip ospf demand-circuit".
Do you need the statement on both the ends of the BRI interfaces (Calling &
called) or one end ONLY?. Has anyone tested with both options. Feedback will
be appreciated.
ans:-- Only one side U nead to mention it.
2.for IGRP when i configure 'IP DEFAULT-NETWORK 130.10.0.0" i can see in my
routing table with "* 150.100.0.0/24 is subnetted, 1 subnets" (that is
candidate route). However, I do not see " i" infront of the route( as
mentioned by Caslow on page 356).Also,I do not see any thing as set as my
"Gateway of last resort". FYI, the network defined is available in RB's
routing table.
setup :
ospf IGRP
RA-------serial---RB--------Token
ans:=---
U will see it as i route only when U run IGRP on it.
If U have specific route for the ro U are specifying as default -network
then U observe gateway of last resort as the previous router giving the def
ro to U.
Hope U understand it.
Murali
