neighbor <ip addr> default-originat route-map <map name>
apply access-list to pass the ip address (on which U wanted to take decesion
to originate def-route) just permit it in route-map.
Hope this helps U and sorry for late reply..

On R2, the command
neighbor <R1> default-originate
will always advertize 0/0 to R1. But check twice that R1 knows
how to reach the "next hop" that R2 passes along with 0/0 route.
On R1, see "show ip bgp neigh <R2> received-routes"
Maybe R1 received 0/0 route, but can't use it because of the next hop
reachability ?
In any way, give the config pieces next time.
Stan
