I found the enclosed Cisco response on one of the newsgroup posting. I could
not get this to work either. I assume the Cisco response also include
"Routes" but he only talks about SAPs.

Question, does Cisco support multiple NLSP areas? If yes, beginning what IOS
release?

NLSP is a link-state protocol. You can only do SAP filtering between areas
(last time I looked we only supported a single area though).

With NLSP enabled, any SAP filtering will have to be done down on your
server.
