I received the following message once I announced I had passed the labexam
on this list.
"That is great!!!!, I hope it effort helps in your job and in
your life. Please give me some advice on what you had in your lab exam and
some
critical questions."
I won't be a total jerk and say who sent it but.......
I appreciate the congrats from all but be sure I cannot and I won't discuss
anything specific about the exam or the questions I had. This policy is in
place to protect us all for when you get the CCIE it is well worth the
effort and valuable since you must workhard to get it and there are no other
ways to get there. I am sure most agree with this. I just prefer not to even
be asked about anything specific. Of course I will try to answer any other
question either technical or otherwise.
I have been asked by several about Caslow's course. The course info can be
found at www.ccci.com. The course name is ECP-1. You can be sure that the
course itself is not going to make you a CCIE but it was very helpful and it
elaborates on the approach used in his book. I found Bruce's methodology for
taking the exam to be the most valuable tool he taught. He is an awesome
instructor and really knows his stuff. Also if you really need time on
equipment then this course also works well. We were in class on the routers
Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 midnight every day. There is no
substitute for time with the equipment.
Cheers,
Steve
