Its a Cisco router ... Ofcourse there is a way!
On your terminal server do 'show line'. Find the absolute line number of
your aux port.
(probably will be the number of async lines +1 )
Use that in your ip host statement.
Lets say that the absolute line number of your aux port is 9
Use a roll-over cable to make the connection.
ex.
ip host R9 2009 1.1.1.1
