Is DLSW+ transitive?

R1, R2 and R3 all have a token ring. you need full bridging connectivity
between all three rings, need to use DLSW.

If I make R1 and R2 have a DLSW connection and make R2 and R3 have a DLSW
connection does that mean that R1's token-ring can send packets to R3's
token-ring ? I don't think so.

This is a case where you are supposed to use border peers and promiscuous
mode right ? To create a full mesh condition.

Am I on the right track here. I'm trying to practice actually figuring out
what the questions really mean.
