Don't forget the command
neighbor X.X.X.X ebp-hultihop Y
as well.

The simple rule is "reachability"... most of the time in an IBGP
setup,
you're already maintaining route entries for your various loopback
addresses. In an EBGP setup (particularly in reality), the other
routers
are not going to have a clue how to get to your loopback address,
therefore
it's not going to work.

Subject: BGP loopback int between EBGP

Hi there,

I found that I can not use loopback interfaces as
sourc of BGP between EBGP, but IBGP works fine, is it
a rule?
Thanks

Stella
