ATM PVC Questions

Not having ATM in my Lab (no cash), I've been working through several
configurations on paper, and running through the online documentation.

I'm fairly comfortable with PVCs now if I equate it to Frame Relay, however
I do have a couple of questions.

All of the cisco examples in the book show the pvcs on the physical
interface, however I have seen some other examples where a multipoint
subinterface is created.
These interfaces have all the characteristics of F/R physical and multipoint
interfaces, and I would expect the same layer 3 issues with them that I
would have with F/R.

Can ATM also be configured with Point-to-point interfaces in the same way as
F/R, and does it then follow the same rules ?

If you need different subnets with your PVCs to different routers, I assume
you would have to use subinterfaces, so would you use multipoint or not ?

Any other recomendations on whether to use a multipoint subinterface as
opposed to a physical interface, and whether with multiple subnets I should
use multiple multi-point interfaces or point-to-point interfaces (if there
is one) ?

2 days to go...

Derek...
