Expected lab configuration methods...

Hi,

I'm taking my lab for the first time on 9/27, and I have a question
regarding the "expected" way to configure the routers on the lab when there
are several possible solutions...

For example, let's say that one is trying to configure BGP, and the
choice is to either turn off synchronization or enable route redistribution
on the IBGP to get the required configuration working. Will the lab
instructions specifically tell you to do in one way and not the other?
While I would expect the lab to setup some specific guidelines, I refuse to
believe that they would lay everything out.

Or, should one consult with the proctor along the lines of "well,...
in this configuration I can either turn of synchronization which could
affect ..., or I can redistribute the routes, which would affect .... Which
method are you looking for?"

Or, would the proctor simply not care as long as the configuration
is working and is following the guidelines?

Maybe I'm being paranoid about this, but I don't want to lose points
for configuring things in one way and not the other with the same end
result. Comments would be greatly appreciated...
