To connect into a router's aux port, instead of its console, the default settin
gs should work. You can add password, change the speed as necessary.
To connect from an aux port as a reverse telnet port to another router, put the
following config on:
line aux 0
no exec
transport input telnet
stopbits 1
Or, if you are wanting to run PPP over it, try:
interface async1
ip addr x.x.x.x y.y.y.y
encapsulation ppp
async default routing
async mode dedicated
line aux 0
modem InOut
speed zzzzz
