IOS consistency during lab exam

I understand that we need to be prepared for "anything" and I don't want
anyone to comment outside the NDA, so..
If anyone can comment..

There seem to be alot of threads with problems that point to IOS
incapabilities. And, this is certainly a fact of real life.
During the lab exam, are the routers already loaded with version 11.2 (let's
say) or are there several flavors on a laptop
that you will need to load, keeping consistency in mind?
