For you IPX experts...
I have snapshot routing working over a DDR link with IPX. IPX RIP works
fine.
Should I be able to get the SAPs to cross during the snap uptime? They
don't seem to pass in one direction. SPARC on config 1 will not go to
config 2. Pokey, mark & melville will no go from config 2 to config 1.
Why? It appears that if the SAP is static on the router with the direct
connection it doesn't work, if the sap is learned from nlsp it works.
I'm relying on the nlsp br0 interface to use RIP to communicate with the
other side of the Br0. This should be automatic.
This is what I get when I turn on debug ipx sap activity...
IPXSAP: positing update to AAA.ffff.ffff.ffff via BRI0 (broadcast) (full)
IPXSAP: suppressing null update to AAA.ffff.ffff.ffff
IPXSAP: Sending null update for Snapshot out interface BRI0
