there is not a modem on this router. It's a 2509 hooked to the AUX of a
4700 via a standard black cisco "roll" cable. The same one you use for the
console port.

the 2509 has 8 async ports, on this router the aux port is line 9. The
other async ports behave like the AUX port only they can run at a higher
speed

the commands under line 8 are just what is listed. please clarify your
question
