That depends on whether you configure your hub with a separate subinterface
for each spoke... If you're practicing for the lab, the chances of them
letting you do that are pretty slim! Either learn IPX on multipoint
interfaces, or consider tunneling.

I'm going to have to play with this in the lab, but surely subinterfaces
act as separate interfaces. If you've got one subinterface on one IPX
network and a second subinterface on another IPX network, won't RIP
updates be passed between the two even though they are on the same
physical interface? Split horizon shouldn't get in the way here.

Using subinterfaces won't make any difference. Split Horizon for the
IPX
RIP will still be enabled.
