OK, here's a quickie: I have an OPSF area (21) with a single
ABR and the 'area 21 range 172.21.0.0 255.255.0.0' command.
Area 21 has a RIP process hanging off of it, as well as area
30 that has a virtual link to the backbone area.
Area 23 sees all of area 21's subnets, even though I'm using
the range command to advertise a summary out of area 21.
Area 23 has 2 ABRs connecting it two the backbone, both of
which are using the 'area 23 range 172.23.0.0 255.255.0.0'
command to summarize out of this area. Area 21 sees area
23's summary, as expected.
This must be something simple; any thoughts?
BTW, there is also an area 22 and it's totally stubby.
Thanks,
Scott
