Looking at the archives it's "Chuck Larrieu", he seems to have vanished from the Internet back in 2002. Oh well just one of this weird things that you wonder about....

I remember him for sure. He was on the Associate/Professional boards a lot when I first discovered GS around the timeframe you reference. His blong roadb was obviously the CCIE journey but he was gone by the time I joined the lab list years later (perhaps 2007ish).

If youbre remembering the spelling correctly, hebs not in the CCIE Hall of Fame, so I surmise that the journey was not completed satisfactorily.
