OT- How does one handle VOIP DOS?

Hello GS members.

This is OT, so i will perfectly understand if no one responds.

I have a work scenario that I need help with and was hoping i could
leverage some of the knowledge and experience of great guys on this forum.

I am dealing with VoIP DoS situation coming in the form of a fax auto
dialer hitting a massive number of internal lines.

What are some of the best practices that you've seen/recommended for
situations such as this? We have an Acme Packet session border controller
(SBC) acting as our VoIP firewall, etc. Is there anything that you're
aware of that we can do to prevent this from reoccurring?
