JB,

I don't have an answer for you, I would be interested in what you find out.
I just deployed some ASR 9006s but set the sampling rate really high (1 in
1000) with the intention of lowering it and monitoring.

An interesting tidbit, the ASR 1000 by default is no longer capable of
taking a full internet BGP feed since we passed 500K routes a while back.
