The real issue is all the features that are required in the CCIE blueprint
that are not available in the IOSv.
Today's CCIE students are more concerned about emulating the exam topology
than actually learning the material and the workbook providers are feeding
into that for the profit.
Will someone ever write a workbook that is geared toward teaching you to be
a CCIE again rather than teaching you the lab?
This could be done with less than 20 routers and 6 switches. If you really
know the technology, the topology is irrelevant.
Just a thought.......
