Hi Ivan ,
I had conversation with Cisco the ideal hardware to run VIRL would be a MacBook Pro maxed out with 16 gig ram intel I7 3.0 processor and 1 terabyte of storage the cost as of yesterday approximately $2700. I do intend to save money and purchase the hardware and VIRL for CCIE Datacenter lab studies and for work. I believe that this tool would be beneficial for the route and switch version 5 exam as well,
