Re: IP sla error

i cannot even set frequency to 2 sec and timeout to 1 sec also.

when i set frequency it say ... your timeout is 5000 ms . when i try
to reduce timeout to 1000 ms it gives error

Router(config-ip-sla-echo)#fre 2
%Error: frequency is less than timeout 5000 ms

Router(config-ip-sla-echo)#time 1000
%Error: timeout is less than threshold 5000

...i am trying to do the following lab from a vendor workbook.

ip sla 1
icmp-echo 54.1.3.254
timeout 1000
frequency 1
ip sla schedule 1 start-time now life forever
