Hi mate,
long time no talk to, hope you are going well.
I sat my recert earlier this year as SP written. Frankly I have never
sat RS written again apart from my first pass in 2003. :-)
Before this one I took SP written twice in 2008 and 2010. I am not sure
if they have released a new version since June 2014, they have been
talking about it.
Versions 2008 and 2010 were one for one, version 2014 was slightly more
shifted towards IOS XR and some modern trends, but still quite static.
In your shoes I'd probably sat CCDE written as Scott has suggested if
you have some slack. Otherwise stick to SP if your schedule is tight, it
may be a bit of a lesser evil.
I am thinking of CCDE written for my next round, in my current role I
have been curving as much designs as doing implementations, and it may
start to shift even more to design type work. From your business
development standpoint I reckon it might look similar.
Cheers
A.
